Learning to live with COVID. The world might be opening up again, but healthcare officials are keen to remind us that the pandemic is here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future. With variants proving more difficult to contain, it seems that keeping preventative measures will be around for longer. As the former director of the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, Doctor Tom Frieden, argues, the most productive way to live with COVID may be to continue using masks and employing social distancing, albeit in a more flexible and less-draconian way.
